1. Introduction
1.1. These Ts & Cs apply to the WIN a 2 night stay at Vrede en Lust campaign (“the Campaign”), hosted by OneDayOnly.co.za.
1.2. By participating in the Campaign, entrants agree to be bound by these Ts & Cs.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Campaign is open to all South African residents aged 18 years or older and will need to either be residing in the Western Cape or be willing to travel to the Western Cape at their own expense. The prize does not include transport to or from the estate. The winner is responsible for their own travel arrangements.
2.2. Employees, directors, agents, and immediate family members of OneDayOnly.co.za or their associated partners are not eligible to enter.
2.3. This campaign is open to new subscribers only. By entering, participants confirm that they were not subscribed to the OneDayOnly.co.za newsletter prior to the start of the competition period.
2.4 Existing subscribers are not eligible to enter this competition.
3. Campaign Period
3.1. The Campaign runs from 11 February - 11 March 2026
3.2. OneDayOnly.co.za reserves the right to amend the Campaign period at its discretion.
4. How to Enter
4.1. To enter, participants must complete the official entry form and provide accurate personal details, including their name, email address, and phone number.
4.2. Only one entry per person is permitted unless otherwise stated. Duplicate entries may be disqualified.
4.3. Entries that are incomplete, incorrect, or submitted after the closing date will not be considered.
4.4. By entering, participants agree to be signed up to OneDayOnly.co.za’s newsletter and to receive marketing communication from OneDayOnly.co.za.
5. Prize & Winner Selection
5.1. One (1) winner will be selected.
5.2. The prize consists of 2 nights Accommodation at Vrede en Lust for 2 adults sharing including breakfast and wine tasting on each day and 2 bottles of Vrede en Lust wine.
5.3. The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries by a qualified independent party.
5.4. The winner will be contacted via email or phone within 7 days after the Campaign ends.
5.5. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, OneDayOnly.co.za reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
5.6. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
5.7. The Prize is subject to availability and excludes peak periods (e.g., public holidays, long weekends, and the December school holiday period).The prize must be redeemed within 12 months of the winner announcement. The wine tasting is subject to the estate’s standard operating hours and selection.
5.8. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other service.
6. Use of Personal Information
6.1. By entering, participants consent to their personal information being processed by OneDayOnly.co.za and Vrede en Lust in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
6.2. Personal information will be used for purposes related to the Campaign, including winner verification, marketing communications, and future promotional activities by OneDayOnly.co.za.
6.3. Participants can opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in emails. Unsubscribing will not disqualify an eligible entrant from winning the prize.
7. Disqualification & Fraud Prevention
7.1. OneDayOnly.co.za reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of tampering with the entry process or violating these Ts & Cs.
7.2. Fraudulent activity, including multiple entries from the same person using different email addresses, will result in immediate disqualification.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. OneDayOnly.co.za and its affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from participation in the Campaign or use of the prize.
8.2. OneDayOnly.co.za is not responsible for any technical failures, human errors, or delays affecting entry submissions or winner notifications.
9. Changes & Termination
9.1. OneDayOnly.co.za reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Campaign at any time without prior notice.
10. Oversight:
10.1 This competition, including all procedures and the selection of the winner(s), is independently overseen by a qualified third party. All records are maintained in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
11. General
11.1. By participating in the Campaign, entrants accept that all decisions made by OneDayOnly.co.za regarding the Campaign are final and binding.
11.2. The winner may be requested to participate in publicity (e.g., social media photos), but has the right to decline.
11.3. A copy of these Terms and Conditions will be available on the OneDayOnly.co.za website for a period of 30 (thirty) days after the campaign's closing date and thereafter upon request for a period of 3 (three) years.
11.4. These Ts & Cs are governed by the laws of South Africa.
