I found a product with a differing retail price to what you say it is. What gives?
Our approach is and always has been to offer our customers genuinely good deals at great prices, and so we take every necessary step to ensure the retail prices reflected are accurate.
The short version:
Retail pricing isn't exact. Some places charge slightly more for something than other places, some a little less, so we take an average.
We do market research on a day-to-day, product-by-product basis to ensure our listed retail price, and the saving indicated, is accurate.
The longer version:
Wherever possible, we take the retail price directly from our suppliers. In cases where the supplier is unable to give us a retail price, our buying team does comparative market research and we take an average of the retail prices available online to establish the retail price reflected. The supplier then signs off on the deal, including the listed price and savings percentage. Our market research is always conducted the day before we run the deal in question, to ensure our retail pricing indicated is current.
Online prices however may often fluctuate after a deal is featured on OneDayOnly for various reasons that include:
- Considerable adjustment of retail prices on products where new/later models have since been launched
- A sudden influx of stock across multiple manufacturers (fidget spinners are a prime example)
- Products whose appeal is impacted by external factors (summer-related products have price adjustments across the board as winter approaches)
Suppliers too may discount the product on their own platforms where they are looking to clear stock.

Your order will be shipped within 5-10 working days, unless otherwise specified. See your My Orders page for the very latest details we have, but rest assured, as soon as your order is ready for dispatch, we’ll send you a mail with the tracking info.
Unfortunately, we can't say exactly when your order will reach you due to other parties like couriers and suppliers playing their part. What we can say though is that as soon as it leaves our warehouse you will get an email telling you that "woo-hoo!" it's on its way.
Why does shipping take 5-10 working days?
The short version:
We don’t hold stock. Our partners deliver exactly what we need, after a deal has run. That way we keep our costs down, prices low and everybody (including you) happy.
The long version:
We're not like other online shops with a fixed catalogue and tons of stock.
So the day after you (and lots of others) have placed your orders, we go to our suppliers and place a massive, single order. Our suppliers love this, as it keeps things simple and moving along smoothly. Happy suppliers equal low prices.
Our suppliers then deliver the required stock to us. This can take anywhere between 1 and 3 working days, depending on where the supplier is based. Once we've received and checked the stock, we dispatch your order to you. This can also take anywhere between 1 and 3 working days, depending on where you're based.
On very rare occasions, unforeseen delays can creep in. Often these are out of our control (stock issues on the side of the supplier, courier logistics delays) and we do try and mitigate these delays as much as possible.
The time it takes to complete the delivery does add up, but it means we can offer our deals at the very best price point possible.
As such, the practice of not holding stock is one of the core principles behind OneDayOnly’s success.

No. Once a deal expires or sells out, that's that. Period. We may offer it again at a later date. But we promise nothing, we allow no backorders, and we have no waiting/notification lists. Sorry. To the swift go the spoils of the race, or something.
