1. Introduction
1.1. These Ts & Cs apply to the WIN a UCOOK VOUCHER campaign (“the Campaign”), hosted by OneDayOnly.co.za.
1.2. By participating in the Campaign, entrants agree to be bound by these Ts & Cs.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Campaign is open to all South African residents aged 18 years or older.
2.2. Employees, directors, agents, and immediate family members of OneDayOnly.co.za or their associated partners are not eligible to enter.
2.3. This campaign is open to new subscribers only. By entering, participants confirm that they were not subscribed to the OneDayOnly.co.za newsletter prior to the start of the competition period.
3. Campaign Period
3.1. The Campaign runs from 23 April - 31 May 2026
3.2. OneDayOnly.co.za reserves the right to amend the Campaign period at its discretion.
4. How to Enter
4.1. To enter, participants must complete the official entry form and provide accurate personal details, including their name, email address, and phone number.
4.2. Only one entry per person is permitted unless otherwise stated. Duplicate entries may be disqualified.
4.3. Entries that are incomplete, incorrect, or submitted after the closing date will not be considered.
4.4. By entering, participants agree to be signed up to OneDayOnly.co.za’s newsletter and to receive marketing communication from OneDayOnly.co.za.
5. Prize & Winner Selection
5.1. One (1) winner will be selected.
5.2. The total prize value is approximately R10,000, the prize is a R10,000 UCOOK credit ("the Prize"), contributed by UCOOK.
5.3The Prize will be awarded to one winner selected by One Day Only in accordance with their competition rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
5.4. The winner will be contacted via email or phone within 7 days after the Campaign ends.
5.5. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, OneDayOnly.co.za reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
5.6. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
5.7 The Prize credit is valid for 2 (two) years from the date of loading onto the winner's account. Any unused credit after this period will expire and cannot be claimed.
5.8 Please note that UCOOK does not deliver to all regions in South Africa. Entrants are encouraged to check whether UCOOK delivers to their area at ucook.co.za before entering. If the winner resides in an area outside of UCOOK's delivery zones, UCOOK reserves the right to withhold the Prize and select an alternative winner.
5.9 The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
5.10 The Prize may not be combined with any other promotion, discount, voucher, code, credit, or offer.
5.11 The Prize is valid for use on ucook.co.za only.
5.12 UCOOK employees, directors, agents and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
5.13 UCOOK's decision regarding the Prize is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5.14 By accepting the Prize, the winner consents to UCOOK using their name and/or likeness for promotional purposes, subject to their right to decline such use.
6. uCook Promotional Discount Code
6.1 All eligible entrants who successfully subscribe will receive a unique promotional code for 40% off their first Meal Kit order on uCook.
6.2 To redeem the promotion, the unique code must be entered in the cart at checkout on uCook.co.za. Failure to apply the code during checkout will result in the promotion not being applied.
6.3 This offer is valid for first-time Meal Kit customers only and applies to the first Meal Kit order placed on uCook.co.za. The promotional code is valid until 1 July 2026 at 09h00 and may only be redeemed once per user.
6.4 The promotional code may not be used in conjunction with any other sale, promotion, discount, code, credit, coupon and/or offer. The code has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may not be sold, exchanged, or otherwise bartered.
7. Use of Personal Information
7.1. By entering, participants consent to their personal information being processed by OneDayOnly.co.za in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
7.2. Personal information will be used for purposes related to the Campaign, including winner verification, marketing communications, and future promotional activities by OneDayOnly.co.za.
7.3. Participants can opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in emails. Unsubscribing will not disqualify an eligible entrant from winning the prize.
7.4 OneDayOnly.co.za and UCOOK will process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
8. Disqualification & Fraud Prevention
8.1. OneDayOnly.co.za reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of tampering with the entry process or violating these Ts & Cs.
8.2. Fraudulent activity, including multiple entries from the same person using different email addresses, will result in immediate disqualification.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1. OneDayOnly.co.za and its affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from participation in the Campaign.
9.2. OneDayOnly.co.za is not responsible for any technical failures, human errors, or delays affecting entry submissions or winner notifications.
10. Changes & Termination
10.1. OneDayOnly.co.za reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Campaign at any time without prior notice.
11. Oversight:
11.1 This competition, including all procedures and the selection of the winner(s), is independently overseen by a qualified third party. All records are maintained in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
12. General
121. By participating in the Campaign, entrants accept that all decisions made by OneDayOnly.co.za regarding the Campaign are final and binding.
12.2. A copy of these Terms and Conditions will be available on the OneDayOnly.co.za website for a period of 30 (thirty) days after the campaign's closing date and thereafter upon request for a period of 3 (three) years.
12.3. These Ts & Cs are governed by the laws of South Africa.
