WHACKHEAD COMEDY JAM - CASH GRAB TERMS & CONDITIONS | 9-10 October 2026

1. The promotion

1. The Cash Grab Competition ("the Competition") is run by OneDayOnly (Pty) Ltd, ("OneDayOnly", "we", "us").
2. The Competition takes place at the OneDayOnly stand at the Whackhead Comedy Jam Festival, at Grand West Casino,on 9 & 10 October 2026, ("the Competition Period").
3. By taking part, you ("the Participant") agree to these terms and conditions ("T&Cs"). If you don't agree, please don't take part.

2. Who can enter

1. The Competition is open to South African residents aged 18 or older who are attending the Whackhead Comedy Festival with a valid ticket.
2. Participants must have, or create during the Competition, a OneDayOnly app account in their own name.
3. The following people may not enter: directors, employees, agents and consultants of OneDayOnly, the Whackhead Comedy Festival organisers, and any supplier or agency involved in the Competition, as well as their spouses, life partners, parents, children and siblings.
4. OneDayOnly may ask for proof of age before allowing a Participant to take part.

3. How it works

1. Entry is free. No purchase is required. Standard mobile data costs to download the OneDayOnly app and register an account are for the Participant's own account.
2. Each Participant gets one (1) grab in the cash grab machine for the whole Competition Period, limited to one per person and one per OneDayOnly account. 
3. A grab lasts either 30 seconds or 15 Seconds, timed by OneDayOnly staff. Only notes caught and held in the Participant's hand(s) when the timer ends count. Notes on the floor, in pockets or clothing, or caught after the timer ends do not count.
4. Timing is at the Game Master's discretion 
5. The Participant must hand all grabbed notes to the OneDayOnly money counter straight away. The notes are props, have no cash value and remain the property of OneDayOnly.
6. The money counter will count the notes in front of the Participant. The money counter's count is final.
7. To claim the prize, the Participant must fill in the google form at the activation stand. 
8. Wallet credit will be applied by 16 October 
9. A Participant who does not register or verify an app account at the stand forfeits the prize.

4. Prizes: OneDayOnly wallet credit

1. The prize is OneDayOnly wallet credit equal to the face value of the notes counted, up to a maximum of R5,000 per Participant, even if more is grabbed.
2. Credit will be loaded to the Participant's OneDayOnly account within 7 business days after the festival ends.
3. Wallet credit:
   1. can be used only on purchases at onedayonly.co.za or in the OneDayOnly app;
   2. cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded or withdrawn;
   3. cannot be transferred to another person or account;
   4. is subject to OneDayOnly's standard website terms and wallet credit terms
4. If a product bought with wallet credit is returned, the refund for the credit portion goes back to the Participant's wallet, not to cash.
5. OneDayOnly may substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if wallet credit cannot be loaded for reasons outside its control.

5. Fair play and disqualification

1. Participants must follow the instructions of OneDayOnly staff at all times.
2. OneDayOnly may refuse entry to, or disqualify, any Participant who:
   1. is under the influence of alcohol or another substance to the point that it is unsafe for them to take part;
   2. damages or tampers with the machine, or uses any object, tool or substance to help grab notes;
   3. enters more than once, uses multiple or someone else's app accounts, or gives false details;
   4. hides, keeps or removes notes from the stand; or
   5. behaves in an abusive, unsafe or disruptive way.
3. A disqualified Participant forfeits any prize. If credit has already been loaded, OneDayOnly may reverse it.
4. Participants with medical conditions that may be affected by the machine's airflow or enclosed space take part at their own discretion.

6. Your personal information

1. To run the Competition and load your prize, OneDayOnly will collect your name, the email address linked to your OneDayOnly account, and your grab amount. We will not ask for your ID number, banking details or physical address at the stand.
2. We process this information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and the OneDayOnly Privacy Policy
3. We use it only to verify your entry, prevent duplicate entries and load your wallet credit. 
4. Signing up for the app does not automatically opt you in to marketing. You will only receive marketing from OneDayOnly if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
5. Photos or video may be taken at the stand. If you don't want to appear in OneDayOnly's social media or marketing, please tell a staff member before your grab.

7. General

1. Participants take part at their own risk. To the extent allowed by law, OneDayOnly, the festival organisers and their staff are not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from taking part, except where caused by their gross negligence.
2. If the Competition cannot run as planned because of technical failure, load-shedding, safety concerns or other circumstances outside OneDayOnly's control, OneDayOnly may suspend, change or end it, with notice at the stand
3. OneDayOnly may amend these T&Cs. Amendments apply from the time they are published and do not affect prizes already won.
4. If any clause is found to be invalid, the remaining clauses stay in force.
5. The Competition is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
6. OneDayOnly's decision on any matter relating to the Competition is final, subject to applicable law.
