Notice: Duplicate Payment Display

Some customers who placed orders between Wednesday, 17 September, and Sunday, 21 September, may notice what looks like two payments on their bank account.

Apple Pay Payments

Due to downtime experienced by Peach Payments, your original Apple Pay transaction was unsuccessful.

What Happened: When you completed your payment, the amount was temporarily placed on hold (authorised) by your bank, which is a normal step in South African transactions. However, due to an error on our payment partner's (Peach Payments) side, the funds were never actually collected.

  • Funds were not deducted from your account, and your order is currently on hold until payment is completed.
  • After the standard holding period, your bank will automatically release the initial authorisation funds back into your available balance. (Please note: Banking apps often don’t distinguish clearly between authorisations and completed payments, so your bank statement or a direct confirmation from your bank will provide the most accurate information.)
  • Peach Payments has already sent secure payment links to all affected customers.
  • In addition, OneDayOnly is sending a new secure payment link directly via email to ensure payment goes through smoothly. The official subject line for this email is: Your OneDayOnly Apple Pay Order Needs Payment

👉 Action required: Please check your email for the payment link and complete your payment to release your order. If you have already paid, no further action is needed.

Card Payments

The first transaction showing on your account is an authorisation hold placed by your bank. The second charge is the actual successful payment.

  • OneDayOnly never received the funds from the initial authorisation hold.
  • A second transaction was processed successfully by our payment partner, Peach Payments, which secured your order.
  • Peach has confirmed that all authorisation holds will be cancelled by close of business today, with funds reflecting back in your account by Friday, 26 September at the latest (depending on your bank).

👉 No action is required from your side.

A Quick Reminder

Please do not request a refund or chargeback with your bank. This will delay the release of your funds.

If the pending transaction on your account does not fall away after the above timelines, or if you did not receive your Apple Pay payment link, please contact our Customer Service team with your order number.

We will continue to provide updates as Peach Payments and the banks confirm the release of all pending holds.
